LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mrs. Zulma Toups Talen, 91, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel in Lake Arthur with Msgr. Ronald Groth officiating. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Talen died at 5:15 p.m., Sunday, February 8, 2015 at her residence in Lake Arthur. Mrs. Talen was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur, was a high school graduate and a retired beautician and cosmetologist. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Library Club, Former President of the State Cosmetology Board, and Catholic Daughters. She also enjoyed working in her yard. Survivors include one son, Charles L. Bailly and wife Jackie of Alexandria; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clomere and Louisa Trahan Toups.
