Zachary David Blanchard, 23, of Jennings passed away peacefully on October 3, 2019 at his home in Jennings.  Zachary was a very special and loving child who enjoyed camping, going in the swimming pool and riding in his bike cart. 

Funeral services for Zachary will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Bubba McCann and Josh Belt officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 6, 2019 and continue until 9:00 p.m.  It will resume on Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service.

Those left behind to cherish Zachary’s memory are his parents, Gerald Wayne and Laura Gotreaux Blanchard of Jennings; his sister, Amber and her husband Derek Deere of Carlyss; his brother, Gerald Wayne Blanchard II of Jennings; maternal grandparents, Early “Chick” and Barbara Gotreaux; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Elsie Blanchard and a niece, Jersey.

Zachary was preceded in death by a brother, David Joseph Blanchard.
