Funeral services for Mrs. Lourance Yvonne Myers, 78, of Jennings, will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Greg Cavenaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mrs. Myers will begin at 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 9 at the funeral home and continue until 8:00 p.m.   It will resume Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Myers was a 1958 graduate of Lake Arthur High School. She enjoyed dancing, reading, playing cards and solving crossword puzzles. However, her favorite pastime was any time spent with her family, particularly her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Placide Legros, Sr. and Lourance Martin Legros; six brothers, O’Neil, Jimmy, Sr., Wilbert, Placide, Jr. (Pete), Percy, and Perry Legros; one sister, Leona Roy and one grandson, Johnathon Myers.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Steve J. Myers; sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Marla Myers of Jennings, Brian and Laura Myers of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Chris and Karen Myers of Topsy; one sister, Corrina Dugas of Lake Arthur; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and former daughter-in-law, Andrea Myers.
