Windall N. Aguillard

LAKE ARTHUR

Funeral services for Mr. Windall N. Aguillard, 95, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014 in the Lake Arthur United Methodist Church with Rev. LaMarylis Cotton officiating.

Burial with Full Military Honors will be in Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Funeral home visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday, and from 8:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.

Mr. Aguillard died at 5:15 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014 in his residence.

Mr. Aguillard was a lifelong resident of Jennings and a graduate of Lake Arthur High School, Class of 1935. He was a member of the Lake Arthur United Methodist Church. He was a retired rice farmer, and an Army Veteran of World War II. Mr Aguillard was the self-proclaimed Mayor of Andrus Cove .

Surivors include two daughters, Emelie Aguillard Baker of Lake Arthur and Yvonne Aguillard Colonna of Lake Charles; a son and daughter in law, Mike and Mary Amy Aguillard of Jennings; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Mr. Aguillard is preceded in death by his wife, Florence Guidry Aguillard; his parents, Valsin and Lena Trahan Aguillard; two sons, Peter and Paul Aguillard and a brother, Luther Pat Aguillard.
