Wilson Anthony Hebert of Welsh, LA, passed away on August 2, 2024, at the age of 90. Born in Crowley, LA on April 20, 1934, he was a proud Army veteran who served his country.

Wilson was a high school graduate who went on to become a successful business owner in the auto parts industry. He was a devoted father to his daughter Tracy and sons Troy and Bryan.

He enjoyed fishing, calf roping, and playing games like cadillac, pool, darts, and ping pong. But most of all he loved sitting by his koi fish pond. Wilson cherished family gatherings and making memories with his loved ones.

Wilson will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his memory and spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched with his kindness and love.

He is survived by his daughter, Tracy Hebert; sons, Troy and Bryan Hebert; grandsons, Michael (Megan), Dylan (Michelle), Jordan (Skyler), and Jack (Nhi) Hebert; and twelve great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 15 years Anna Joyce Trahan; five brothers, Wilfred Hebert, Clifford Hebert, Nelson Hebert, Rodney Hebert, and Leroy Hebert; two sisters, Sister Henrietta Hebert and Dorothy Hebert Ardoin; and a grandson, Derek Hebert.

The family is honoring his wishes of cremation under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Graveside Inurnment services for Mr. Wilson will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Cemetery in Welsh, LA., with Military Honors for his dedication to our country.
