Wilmer G Meador

JENNINGS Mr. Wilmer G. Meador, 86, died at 6:20 a.m., Sunday, September 16, 2018 in the Care Center in DeQuincy.

His wishes were to be cremated. Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Meador was a native of Camp Worth, Texas and a resident of DeQuincy three years moving there from Blue Settlement, Texas. He was a retired welder. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era.

Survivors include four daughters, Dale Salge and Regina Weaver both of Hackberry, Denise Byzewski of Byran, MS, Angelia Butchers of Tyler, TX; one son, David Meador of Lexington, TX; one sister, Grace Stinson of Shreveport, one brother, Charles Meador of Los Osis, CA; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-great children and 1 great-great grandchild.

Mr. Meador was preceded in death by his parents, Archie Leon and Stella Deggs Meador.
