JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Mae Allemand Martin, 93, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2009 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Douglas Broyles officiating. Burial will be in Andrus Cove Cemetery. Funeral home visitation was from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Monday; and 8:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services. Mrs. Martin died at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2009 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mrs. Martin was a lifelong resident of Jennings and was a retired waitress having worked at Legers Caf and Moms Cajun Kitchen. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include three daughters, DeWillia Jean Boone and husband Norman of Beaumont, TX, Geraldine Martin of Westlake, Sherry Nelson of Westlake; one sister, Teresa Cates of Jasper, GA; five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Elphedge and Alozia Allemand; her husband, David Martin; two sisters, Mae Burnett, Mable Webb; five brothers, Eldridge, Selridge (Bebo), Lanet Allemand, Sandies and Ramsey Allemand and one son-in-law, Victor Nelson
