Willa Mae Duhon

Jennings Funeral services for Mrs. Willa Mae Duhon, 86 will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday October 20, 2012 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary DarDar officiating. Chapel visitation on Friday, October 19, 2012 will be from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Saturday visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Bertrand Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Mrs. Duhon died at her residence on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 8:08 a.m. Mrs. Duhon was a native of Evangeline and lifelong resident of Jennings. She was a homemaker and loved being with her family. She is survived by four daughters; JoEtta Gentry of Jennings, Patricia (Narlin) Mickelson of Mesa, AZ, Brenda (Gerald) Miller of Iota, and Katherine (Bud) Cooper of Roanoke, a son; Darrel (Sharon) Duhon of Evangeline, and a sister; Shirley Graham of Jennings, 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Duhon was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Duhon, her parents, Willie and Opal Ravey Comeaux, a daughter, Peggy Deshotel, three sisters, Bullah Caswell, Edna Miller Spears and Vinus Moore and three brothers, Wilfred, Cleo and Gene Comeaux.
