Mr. Will Leary Houston, Sr., 78 formerly of Lake Charles passed away peacefully on September 30, 2021, in the Southwest Louisiana Veteran’s Home in Jennings where he was currently residing.  Mr. Houston was 78 years old and a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was born in Beaumont, TX on November 3, 1942, to Frank and Elizabeth Shaw Houston. He received an Associates Degree and worked as electrician in the industrial facilities.

Mr. Houston is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Ann Houston- Las Vegas, son, Will Leary (Poliana) Houston, Jr. of Lake Charles; sisters, Rubily, Elizabeth, and Darlene; one grandchild, Honey Cinnamon Houston.

He was preceded in death by wife, Carolyn Faye Houston; his parents, sister Mary Shaver and brother Teddy Houston.

The family has entrusted cremation to Miguez Funeral Home.
