LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mr. Wilfred Kibodeaux, 85, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 17, 2011 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Funeral home visitation will be from 3:00 p.m., until 10:00 p.m., Sunday; and 8:00 a.m., Monday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Sunday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Kibodeaux died at 12:20 a.m., Saturday, January 15, 2011 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mr. Kibodeaux was a native of Florence, LA and a resident of Lake Arthur many years. He was a former resident of Premont, Texas and Fenton, LA. He retired from Mobil Oil Company with 40 years of service as a Senior Repairman Supervisor in Production. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Mr. Kibodeaux enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and cooking. He really enjoyed teasing his 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was also very proud of his family, displaying their photos thoughout his home. Survivors include one daughter, Christine Ann Kibodeaux of Lake Charles; and one brother, Forrest Kibodeaux. Mr. Kibodeaux was preceded in death by his parents, Cleophas and Mary Abbott Kibodeaux; his beloved wife, Ethyl Mary Rousseau; one son, Keith John Kibodeaux; seven sisters, Cora Hanks, Zula Hanks, Hazel David, Eula Mae Guidry, Wilda Portie, Wina Mae Ardoin, Mary Adless LeGros; and three brothers, Roy Kibodeaux, Wilmer Paul “Beno” Kibodeaux and Russell Kibodeaux.
