Wilford Langley

Jennings Funeral services for Mr. Wilford Langley, 90, will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church with Very Reverend Anthony Fontenot officiating. Burial will be in Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation on Friday, November 9, 2012 will be from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. led by Deacon Mike Tramel. Visitation on Saturday will be from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Mr. Langley died on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 6:36 a.m. in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mr. Langley was a resident of Jennings and a 20 year resident of Welsh. Mr. Langley served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a derrick hand in the oil industry and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mr. Langley loved to dance, fish, and garden. Survivors include his five daughters, Earline LeBlanc and husband Tom of Jennings, Wanda Cormier of Jennings, Jean L. Simon and husband Harold of Jennings, Janelle Derouen and husband Frank of Haughton, LA, Joetta Monceaux and husband Boo of Jennings; one sister, Nadine Sis Newman of Jennings; 20 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren, 13 great great-grandchildren; step-children, Karen, Ricky, Keith, Dale (Mary), Earl (Tammy) Doucet, Ann (Mike) Dubois and Ronald Benoit; special friend, Beatrice Ardoin, her children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Olivia Mallett Langley; and three brothers, Clifford, Lester Sr. (Black), and Thomas Langley, one sister, Annie Langley, and his former wife, Livian Langley Longin. Pallbearers are Clyde Langley, Everette Gary, Jared LeBlanc, Donovan Monceaux, T-Boy Monceaux, and Brett Broussard. Honorary pallbearers are Boogie Broussard and Rory Derouen.
