Mr. Wilbert Lee Plaisance, 87, of Jennings passed on to his heavenly reward on December 25, 2020 in the Southwest LA Veteran’s Home in Jennings, LA.

Mr. Plaisance was career military and served his country in the United States Navy from 1950 to 1953 and in the United States Air Force from 1955 until 1973.  He also held degrees in both accounting and business.  Mr. Plaisance enjoyed playing golf and reading.

He is survived by his two daughters, Melissa (Mike) Sandrock and Kari (Terry) Navarre, both of Lake Charles; stepson, Jay (Mary) Wilkinson of Indian Village; grandchildren, Anna Plaisance, Ryan Navarre, Ian Navarre and Lexie Griggs; and great grandchildren, Hanna, Layla, Fallon, Claire, Tyler and Piper.

Mr. Plaisance was preceded in death by his parents, Oleuise and Eve Cradeur Plaisance; two wives, J-No West and Valerie “Mickey” Thomas; two sisters, Mable Leger and Hilda Blanchard; and three brothers, Whitney “Red” Plaisance, Rodney Plaisance and Lloyd “PeeWee” Plaisance.

In accordance with his wishes Mr. Plaisance will be cremated under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
