Funeral services for Mr. Wayne Reed, 70 of Jennings will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roland Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Millerville Cemetery in Iota.

Visitation for Mr. Reed will begin on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. and continue until 10:00 p.m. It will resume on Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m. until service time.

Mr. Reed was born on February 1, 1951, to Felix and Bernice Reed of Tee Mamou, LA.  He passed away on August 25, 2021, in his home surrounded by his family. He spent most of his adult life in the oil and gas industry. He enjoyed the outdoors camping and fishing, going to the casino and spending time with his grandchildren.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are a daughter, Rosanna Boyle of Welsh; stepdaughter, Tammy Reed of Welsh; two sons, Don (Dawn) Reed of Jennings and Bobby Reed, Sr. of Jennings; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Alta Benoit Reed; sisters, Susie Courville, Tally Theriot and Lassie Crochet and brothers, Norris Reed, Bert Reed and Robert Reed.
