Mr. Warren John Gary, 60, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in his residence.

A memorial service will be held at the Jennings Church of Christ, 1812 N. Cutting, in Jennings on Friday November 18, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.

Memorial visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 8 a.m. until the time of service.

Mr. Gary was a lifelong resident of the Jennings area and a high school graduate and was the inspector for the City of Jennings. He was retired from the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s office where he was employed for over twenty years. He loved to hunt and being outdoors. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He was a former hunter education teacher. Mr. Gary was a deacon at the Christian Family Fellowship Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Kayla LeDoux Gary of Jennings; two daughters, Amber Francois and Marcie Wagner both of Jennings; four sisters, Betty LeJeune, Bertha Benoit, Beverly Dronet all of Jennings and Barbara Denman of Hurst, Texas; two brothers, Walter Gary and William Gary both of Jennings; six grandchildren and one step-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Lola Lavergne Gary, Sr.; and one brother, Wallace Gary, Jr.
