Warren James Cain, Jr.

LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Warren J. Cain, Jr. 52, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 8, 2010 in the Miguez Funeral Home in Lake Arthur with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., today, Thursday and 8:00 a.m., Friday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. today, Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Warren passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in a vehicle accident. Mr. Cain was a lifelong resident of the Lake Arthur community; he enjoyed spending time with family, fishing and sports. He worked as a welder for his father at S & W Welding. Mr. Cain is survived by his son, Marcus Devin Pettifield of Phoenix, AZ, one grandson, Cain Lee Pettifield, of Phoenix, AZ; his parents, Warren J. and Agnes Vincent Cain, Sr.; three sisters, Darlene C. Price and husband Raymond of Gueydan, Mary Gail C. Boudreaux and husband Terry of Lake Arthur, Phyllis Theresa Oliver and husband Patrick J. of Lake Arthur, one brother, Matthew Joseph Cain of Gueydan, godparents, Zora Vincent Woods and Wilford Woods, 13 nieces and nephews and 15 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mayo and Gladys Vincent Cain, John P. Vincent (Jean Pierre) and Elia Istre Vincent, sibling Cheryl M. Cain Boudreaux, niece Misty M. Boudreaux, his godmother Judy Cain Dickerson, uncle Curtis Cain, and uncle Norman Cain.
