LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mr. Warren James Cain, Sr., 76, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 30, 2010 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Funeral home visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday; and 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Friday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Cain died at 3:15 p.m., Monday, October 25, 2010 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mr. Cain was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur, graduate of the Gueydan High School and attended SLI, now ULL, Lafayette. He was a welder and owner of the S & W Welding Shop, member of the Rod and Gun Club, Delta Waterfowl, former member of Ducks Unlimited. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church where he served as usher. He is survived by his wife, Agnes Myrtle Vincent Cain of Lake Arthur; three daughters, Darlene Price and husband Raymond of Gueydan, Mary Gail Boudreaux and husband Terry of Lake Arthur, Phyllis Theresa Oliver and husband Patrick of Lake Arthur; one son, Matthew Joseph Cain of Gueydan; one sister, Mayola Sonnier and husband Charlie of Jennings; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Mr. Cain was preceded in death by his parents, Mayo Lewis and Gladys Vincent Cain; one daughter, Cheryl M. Cain Boudreaux; one son, Warren J. Cain, Jr., granddaughter, Misty Michelle Boudreaux, two brothers, Curtis and Norman Cain and one sister, Judy Cain Dickerson.
