Warren "Buddy" Lee Sonnier

Lake Arthur Funeral services for Mr. Warren (Buddy) Lee Sonnier, 71 will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 19, 2013 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Msgr. Ronald Groth officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery under the Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 2:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Visitation on Friday will be from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Mr. Sonnier died Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur and worked in the Construction/Oilfield industry. Mr. Sonnier is survived by his wife; Linda Sonnier of Lake Arthur, LA., two daughters; Audra (Jeff) Menard of Jennings, LA and Jennifer (Daniel) Hardee of Lake Arthur, LA, two sons: Richard (Rachel) Sonnier of Lake Arthur and Scott (Wendy) Sonnier of Lacassine, LA and a sister; Dorothy (Robert) Sonnier Gary of Jennings, LA., 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Mr. Sonnier is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Goon and Hazel Vincent Sonnier.
