Wanda Gail Trahan

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Gail LeGros Trahan, 66, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2014 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Bro. Garland Reed officiating. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Welsh under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. Wednesday until time of services. Mrs. Trahan died at 6:15 a.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2014 in the Camelot Brookside Nursing Home. Mrs. Trahan was a lifelong resident of Jennings and was a high school graduate. She was a caregiver. She loved playing bingo, spending time with her grandchildren, caring for others and she always had a smile. Survivors include three daughters, Rosalind Lognion and husband Corky of Welsh, Kayla Spell and fiance Duke Ledet of Iota, Kristie Trahan of Logansport; her mother, Wydell Regan of Hathaway; three sisters, Carolyn LeGros of Kaplan, Becky Gary and husband Terry of Hathaway, Rosie Cart and husband Carol of T-Mamou; one brother, David Noonack LeGros and wife Debbie of Corpus Christi, TX; and six grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, David Daniel LeGros and her husband Robert James Trahan.
