JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Vurney (Wanda Earl) Dupont, 80, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 14, 2008 in the Roanoke United Methodist Church with Revs. Lisa Turnbull and Kathy Howell officiating. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Welsh under direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm Sunday; and 8:00 a.m. Monday in the church until time of services. Mrs. Dupont died at 7:35 a.m., Saturday, July 12, 2008 at her residence in Roanoke. Lifelong resident of Roanoke Graduated from the Roanoke High School class of 1945 She retired as a cafeteria worker at the Welsh/Roanoke Junior High School Member of the Roanoke United Methodist Church SURVIVORS: Husband of 62 ½ years, Mr. Vurney Ray Dupont-Roanoke (2) Daughters: Sharon Mallett-Lacassine Janet Ardoin-Roanoke (2) Sons: Ronald Ray Dupont-Moss Bluff Dennis Alan Dupon t-Lacassine (9) Grandchildren (11) Great Grandchildren
