Funeral services for Mr. Walter Lee Thibodeaux, 56, of Jennings will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 11:00 at Miguez Funeral Home with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating.  Burial will follow in Millerville Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mr. Thibodeaux will begin Friday, September 4, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.   It will resume at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning until time of service.

Mr. Thibodeaux lived in this community his entire life.  He was Steeple Jack in the construction industry.   He loved the outdoors and his favorite activities included hunting, fishing, riding atv’s, and mud riding.  He enjoyed doing mechanic work.  He was a family man and spending time with his family and friends was very important to him.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Mary Gale Bouley Thibodeaux; daughters Marcie (Cody) Adickes and Tasha (Derrick) Thibodeaux, all of Hathaway, Christina (Marcos) Thibodeaux, Amber (Dustin ) Thibodeaux and Jasmine (Blaise) Thibodeaux all of Jennings; his mother and stepfather, Freida and Jules Simoneaux; two sisters, Layn (Bobby) Constance of Grand Lake and Kari Thibodeaux of Rayne; brother John (Gwen) Thibodeaux of Jennings; 16 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leeward Joseph Thibodeaux; his grandson, Wyatt Keith Quebodeaux and his grandmother, Eula Mae Thibodeaux.

Pallbeares will be Cody Adickes, Derrick Adickes, Marcos Rodriguez, John Thibodeaux, Lenord Lopez and Ty Thibodeaux.  Honorary pallbearers will be John Allen Thibodeaux and Dustin Doucet.
