Vivian Elaine Louviere

Vivian Elaine Broussard Louviere, 80, passed away quietly at home, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, after a brief illness.

Vivian grew up in a large family in Jennings, before living in Welsh where she raised her family.  She enjoyed her career at H & R Block after her children were grown and moved to Lafayette in recent years to be closer to family.

Vivian is survived by her husband of 61 years, Edward Louviere, children Steven Louviere of Pensacola, FL, Lisa Rios (Edgar) of Lafayette, Amy Dinnat (Dustin) of Lafayette, four grandsons, Seth Rios, Antonio Rios, Caleb Dinnat, and Lucas Dinnat and one great grandson, Ethan Rios as well as one brother, Russell Broussard, several brother and sister-in-laws, many nieces and nephews and longtime friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Emile Broussard and Zada Quebodeaux Broussard; siblings, Algernon “Cho” Broussard, Betty Guidry, Lawrence Broussard, Harold Broussard, Glynn Broussard. and Vickye Fruge.

A Memorial Mass Celebration will be held at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, January 21, 2023.

She will be missed by her family and friends.
