Viola Suire

Jennings A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Miss Viola Suire 83, at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from 3 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6 p.m. Visitation on Wednesday will be from 8 a.m. until the time of service. Miss Suire died Friday, August 22, 2014 at 6:40 a.m. in the Jennings American Legion Hsopital. Miss Suire was a native and lifelong resident of Jennings and a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society, Catholic Daughters of America, Missionary Servant of the Most Holy Eucharist and a member of the Most Holy Sacrament Convent. She is survived by four sisters; Sylvia Taylor of Jennings, Ave Suire of Jennings, Marie Doucet of Jennings and Margaret Parsley of Evangeline and several nieces and nephews. Miss Suire was preceded in death by her parents, Selvan and Amanda Bouillon Suire, two sisters, Anna White and Anne M. Shepard and two brothers, David S. Suire and Amos Suire. In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church.
