Viola Mary Dupont

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Viola Mary Monceaux Dupont, 86, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 22, 2015 in the Church of Christ on Cutting with Paul Estes officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. Friday until time of services at the Church of Christ. Mrs. Dupont died at 2:31 a.m., Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mrs. Dupont was a lifelong resident of Jennings/Roanoke area and a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by one daughter, Kayla Sue Parsley of Roanoke; three sons, David Roy Dupont and wife Brenda of Mary Esther, FL, Kirk Wade Dupont and wife Tina of Pine Island, Ellis James Fontenot of Rayne; one brother, Robert Monceaux; six grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Dupont is preceded in death by her parents, Ovey and Ovilia LaPoint Monceaux; her husband, Leroy Dupont; one sister, Mabel Doucet; brothers, Molton, Weston, Easton “Bee”, Wilbert, and Clifton Monceaux.
