JENNINGS Funeral services for Mr. Vincent Haydel, III, 70, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 22, 2010 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday; and 8:00 a.m., Monday until time of services. A rosary led by Mrs. Ida Trahan will be recited at 6:00 p.m., Sunday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Haydel died at 2:32 p.m., Thursday, February 18, 2010 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mr. Haydel was a native of Eunice and a 60 + year resident of Jennings. He loved to work with wood and metal and liked to travel. He served in the U.S. Army and was a retired ship fitter/supervisor for LeeVac Shipyards. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Carolyn LeJeune Haydel of Jennings; one daughter, Donna Dover and husband Scott of Mire; three sons, Ted Michael Haydel and wife Angela of Charleston, SC, Michael Anthony Haydel and wife Sandra of Jennings, Paul Mark Haydel and wife Rachelle of Welsh, one brother, Paul Eugene Haydel and wife Billie of Jennings and eight grandchildren.
