Vincent F. Circello

Pastor Vincent Felice Circello, 94, was called home by his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 15, 2021.

“Poppy” as he was fondly called by all that knew him was a native of New York and very proud of his Italian heritage. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II. “Poppy” was blessed with many talents such as cooking, painting, gunsmithing, and writing; recently writing a book called, Our Story. He loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family; but his greatest joy was teaching people about the Lord. He pastored churches in Vermont and Florida and traveled all over the world working with missions and performing God’s work.  He was a member of Life Point Church of Sulphur.

Left to cherish him memory are his wife of 14 years, Ruth Circello; children, Diana Cua (Rick) of Franklin, TN, Felice Clark (Larry) of Liverpool, NY, Stacey Vangemery of Milton, VT, and Gimi Circello (Temara) of Tampa, FL; stepchildren, Craig Constance (Darlene) of Carlyss, and Sterling Constance (Charlene) of Hackberry; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother, Mike Circello of California; and “son-in-law at heart” Neal Vangemery.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Nicola and Angela Circello; sister, Fedora Depamphilis; and stepson, Jimmy L. Constance, Jr.

“Poppy’s” life will be celebrated 11am, Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at LifePoint Pentecostal Church of Sulphur. Pastor Marshall Baggett and Pastor Jeanne Gunter will officiate. Burial will follow at New Hackberry Cemetery. Visitation will be held at LifePoint Pentecostal Church 4 – 7pm, Monday, January 18^th and will resume Tuesday at 10am until time of service.
