Victoria Ann Roy

Victoria Ann Roy, 69, of Welsh passed away on April 9, 2023, in the Golden Age of Welsh.

She was born on December 24, 1953, in Jennings, to parents, Edward Joseph Roy and Mary Istre Roy.  She was a lifelong resident of Jennings.

Mrs. Roy was a loving mother and grandmother who was very devoted to her family.  She was known for her infectious smile that brought joy to everyone around her, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Inurnment will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. in Greenwood Cemetery.  Family and friends are invited to attend.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Michael “Jacob” Simar; her grandchildren, Collin, Montana and Zoe Simar, Tyler and Olivia Schexnayder and Anna Guillory and her five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Charlene Roy Gresham and Francis Roy Spell.

Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home.
