Vicie Mae (Vickie) Bolles Ramsdell, 96, of Iowa, LA d passed away at 4:10 a.m. on January 13, 2018 in Camelot Brookside in Jennings, Louisiana.

Mrs. Ramsdell was born on June 13, 1921 in Chatangier, Louisiana.

She would be quick to tell you she had two wonderful husbands in her lifetime. Her four children, six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren were precious gifts given to her and she spoke of them often.

She took pride in raising her family on a rice farm in Elton, Louisiana. Her family has wonderful memories of farm life and especially remember her homemade hamburgers on Friday nights and delicious Sunday dinners.

She is survived by her husband Jim Ramsdell of Iowa, LA; daughter Deloris Pitre of Elton, LA; son John Bolles and wife Mattie of Jennings, LA; nieces, nephews and six stepchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wilson and Avylea Guillory Fontenot; first husband Ezra Bolles; daughter Ellen Bock; son Gary Bolles; sister Dorothy McAdams and brother Henry LeJeune.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ramsdell will be held Monday, January 15, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with John Bolles and Shane Bolles officiating. Burial will follow in China Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin on Sunday, January 14 from 3:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and resume Monday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
