Mr. Benoit was born on March 1, 1967 in Opelousas, LA to parents, Leroy and Marlene Kibodeaux Benoit. He passed away peacefully on April 28, 2021 at his home in Jennings.

He was a lifelong resident of Jennings. After graduating high school and attending college, he went on to become the manager at an environmental service company.  He was an avid LSU fan and enjoyed participating in many different sports himself.  He loved playing league softball, darts, and pool, just to name a few.  Make no mistake, he played as hard as he worked and he was nearly an expert at every game he played.  He was a very hard worker and a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He loved to cook and loved his family and when he could combine the two, it made the occasion extra special.

Mr. Benoit is survived by his wife, Diana Daigle Benoit; his parents, Leroy and Marlene Benoit; 2 daughters, Jessica (Jeremy) Kopnicky and Carrie (Brandon) Kratzer, all of Jennings; sister, Paige (James) Fontenot of Denham Springs; three brothers, Kyle (Marilyn) Benoit of Ardoin Cove, Darrin Benoit of Jennings, Todd (Leslie) Benoit of Evangeline and seven grandchildren.
