Trenton J. Evans

The family of Trenton J. Evans announces his passing on August 29, 2024, at the age of 19. 

Trenton was born on June 23, 2005. He was a graduate of Seton Home School. He was a man that was always lending a hand to help someone. He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, where he served as an usher and proudly was a member of the Knights of Columbus 2012 Chapter. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. His memory will always be carried with us, and he will never be forgotten. 

Trenton will be dearly missed by his parents, Hollie and John Evans, siblings Stephen Evans, Sr., Joshua Evans, Jake (Jaida) Evans, Brianna Evans, Abigail (Tramaine) Evans, Gwendolyn Evans, Taye Evans, Andrew Ware, Aiden Ware, Serenity Fruge, Trevor Fruge, Levi Fruge, and Legend Fruge; paternal grandmothers, Susan Evans; maternal grandfather, Leonard Fruge; maternal grandfather, Ronald Fruge; Nieces, Meya and Natalie Evans; nephews, Stephen Evans, Jr., Prince Kelly, Khyce Kelly, and Collin Evans.

A Mass of Christian Burial in Trenton's honor will be held at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church on September 4, 2024, at 12:00 p.m., with Father Keith Pellerin officiating. 

The family is requesting visiting hours to begin on Tuesday September 3, 2024, in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel, beginning at 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday until 11:30 a.m., which will be the time to depart for church.

He will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Trenton was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, William Evans, maternal grandmother, Brenda Fruge, his aunt, Mary Crochet, his great uncle, Rodney Fruge, and a grandmother, Cheryl Fontenot.

Carrying him to his final place of rest will be Jake Evans, Stephen Evans Sr., Joshua Evans, Tramaine Kelly, Aiden Ware and Andrew Ware.
