Lake Arthur Funeral services for Mr. Travis Jonathon Fontenot, 33 will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Visitation on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 will begin at 11:00 am with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral home visitation will continue on Friday from 8 a.m. until the time of service. He died Thursday, February 27, 2013 at 5:00 a.m. at his residence. Mr. Fontenot was a native of Jennings and Lake Arthur. He loved to watch wrestling and sports, go fishing and listen to Zydeco music. He is survived by his parents; Terry and Deborah LaBouve Fontenot of Jennings, three brothers; Farrell Fontenot of Lake Charles, Brian Fontenot and wife Casey of Hathaway and Everett Fontenot of Lake Arthur, his maternal grandmother; Marlene LaBouve, a nephew; Blaison Fontenot and two nieces; Alexis Fontenot and Kennedy Fontenot. Mr. Fontenot was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather; Ernest Chico LaBouve and his paternal grandparents, Houston and Hazel Fontenot.
