Mr. Tracy Goodwin, 62, of Welsh, passed away on January 16, 2022, at Heart Hospital in Lafayette, LA.  Mr. Goodwin was born on April 12, 1959, in Sulphur to Lester Joseph and Mae Willa Perkins Goodwin.

He graduated from Westlake High School Class of 1977 and attended McNeese State University.  He worked as a journeyman lineman for the town of Welsh for 18+ years.

Memorial services will be held Friday, January 21,2022 at 11:00 AM at Willow Springs Baptist Church, 809 Willow Springs Rd., Sulphur, LA  70663.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Allison Goodwin; daughter, Alysha Goodwin of Lake Charles; son, Tray Goodwin of Lake Arthur; two sisters, Lori Harmon of Sulphur and Nakia Johnson of Westlake; two brothers, Stacy Goodwin of Lake Charles and James Goodwin of Sulphur; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family has chosen cremation under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
