Funeral services for Tony Morvant, 68 of Jennings will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Gandy officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Tony will begin on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. and continue until time of service.

Tony was born on September 4, 1953, in Kinder to Civirillian and Lucy Cormier Morvant.  He graduated from Jennings High School in 1974.  He enjoyed talking and visiting with his friends and family.  He loved electronics and music.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 47 years,  Debra Gandy Morvant; son, Jeremy (Patty) Morvant of Welsh; sisters, Carolyn (Ronald) Mouton of Jennings, Pat (Hilliard “Slim”) Bertrand of Jennings and Vickie (Ted)Tiedeman of Jennings; two brothers, Civirillian (Cecilia) Morvant, Jr. of Roanoke and Mark (Miriah) LeBlanc in the US Air Force and stationed in South Korea; four grandchildren, Skyler, Leah, Kali and Demi Morvant; and his dad, Ronald LeBlanc.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a twin brother, Antony Morvant.
