LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mr. Timothy Patrick Sonnier, 48, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2009 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Entombment will be in the St. Anthony Mausoleum under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Funeral home visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., today, Tuesday and 8:00 a.m., Wednesday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., today, Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Sonnier died at 6:55 a.m., Monday, November 30, 2009 in the Acadian Medical Center in Eunice. Mr. Sonnier was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur and worked as a tree cutter for Beaver Tree Removal Service. He liked to hunt and fish. Survivors include his wife, Janelle Hebert Sonnier of Lake Arthur; three sons, Timothy Shawn Hebert, Joshua Charles Hebert and Dustin Dwayne Sonnier all of Lake Arthur; his mother, Doris Benoit Sonnier of Lake Arthur; three brothers, Randall Sonnier of Jennings, Gregory Sonnier and Wayland Sonnier both of Lake Arthur; and two step-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Ulysse Sonnier, Jr.
