Thomas David Brooks, Jr.

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mr. Thomas D. Brooks, Jr., 75, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 11, 2015 in the First Baptist Church with Bro. Brian Wells officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of services, Thursday, June 11, 2015. Mr. Brooks died at 12:25 p.m. Thursday, June 4, in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mr. Brooks was a lifelong resident of Jennings and a retired surveyor for the Louisiana State Highway Department. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church where he served as usher. Survivors include his brother, Rev. Paul Brooks and his nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas D. Brooks, Sr. and Mildred Utz Brooks.
