Theresa F. Abshire

It is with great sadness that the family of Theresa Faye Derouen Abshire announces her passing On August 13, 2019. Theresa went to meet her Lord and Savior while in ICU at St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles.

Theresa loved life, loved dancing, loved fishing and spending time with her family and friends.

Funeral services for Theresa Faye Derouen Abshire will be held on Saturday, August 17 at 2:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Arthur with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating. Burial will follow in Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held beginning Saturday morning, August 17 in Miguez Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. and will continue until time of service.

Theresa is preceded in death by her father, Samuel “Sammy” Derouen of Lake Arthur and two brothers Marshall Lane Derouen and Andrew Paul Bouley.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, Jeanette Derouen of Lake Arthur; step-dad Paul Bouley of Lake Arthur; four sisters, Pamela Ann Derouen of Lake Arthur; Lynette Derouen Vail (Ronnie) of Bay Town, TX; Janice Marie Bouley and Marion Bouley both of Lake Arthur; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers for Ms. Abshire will be Marshall Joseph Richard, Bradley Scott Giles, Aaron Scott Giles, Noah Paul Bouley, Christian Hargrave and Courtlynn Broussard.
