Theojune J. Mott

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mr. Theojune Joseph Mott, 58, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 26, 2010 in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Funeral home visitation was from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., Friday; and 8:00 a.m. today, Saturday until time of services. A rosary led by Mrs. Betty LeGros was recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Mott died at 9:00 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Mott was a native of Lake Arthur and a lifelong resident of the Welsh area. He worked as a farm hand. Survivors include two daughters, Susan Ann Mott Marcelo of Iota and Ann Marie Mott of Basile; one son, Theojune J. Mott, Jr. and wife Tanya of Jennings; four grandchildren, Leona, Ashley, Dillan and Kelsee; three step grandchildren, Hannah, Paige and Brittany; and one step great grandchild, Alizabeth, the mother of his children, Gleada Primeaux of Iots, five sisters, Jane Moore of Jennings, Lola Nolan and husband Joey of Jennings, Bursia Ardoin of Basile, Julie Fay Duhon of Newcon, TX and Pearl Iguess of Welsh; two brothers, Lee Ray Mott of Welsh and Webster Mott of Jennings; Mr. Mott was preceded in death by his parents, Oville and Edna Gary Mott; one sister, Anna Mott LeJeune and three brothers, Orville Mott, Jr., Austin Mott, Sr. and Dewey Mott. Pallbearers are Theojune Mott, Jr., Charlie Teele, Alex Lopez, Marcelo Bohorquez, Roderick (T-Rod) Chiasson, Troy Marcantel, Mark (Gumbo) Marcantel and Jacob Mott.
