Funeral services for Terry Charles Murray, 59, of Jennings will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2017 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Austin Spell officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 27, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

Mr. Murray was a lifelong resident of Jennings. He was a fitter at the SBA shipyard. Mr. Murray enjoyed the outdoors, bush hogging and doing carpenter work. He enjoyed reading and watching sports, but his favorite time was the time he spent with family and friends.

Mr. Murray was preceded in death by his father, Charles Murray: his broher in law, Robert Hanks and his nephew Christopher Hanks.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Alice Spell of Indian Ridge; daughter, Lola Lege of Ruston; two sons, Joshua (Tiffany) Murray  of Evangeline and Scotty (Jessica) Murray of Mermentau; nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He is also survived by three sisters; Lizzie (Edward) LaPoint of Thibodeaux; Bonita Murray of Jennings; Elizabeth (Daniel) Hanks of Hathaway; and three brothers, Edward Murray, Wendall(Diane) Murray and Benjamin (Rochele) Murray, all of Jennings.
