LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Susan Kay Andrus Schexnider, 55, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2011 in the First Baptist Church with Dr. David Savage officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Visitation will be held at the church from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., today, Tuesday; and 8:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services. Mrs. Schexnider died at 12:45 a.m., Monday, August 1, 2011 at her residence in Lake Arthur. Mrs. Schexnider was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur. She passed away peacefully in her home after a long courageous battle with cancer. Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly Guillory of Lake Arthur, Antonia Chaisson of Lake Arthur; one son, Rufus Comeaux, III of Lake Arthur; her parents, JB and Kirby LeBlanc Winn of Lake Arthur; one sister, Carol Ann Winn Smith of Basile; two brothers, David Andrus of Jennings, Raymond Andrus of Zwolle and eight grandchildren.
