Stoney J Fontenot

LAKE ARTHUR

Mr. Stoney J. Fontenot, 53, of Thornwell, passed away peacefully at 5:38 a.m. on April 10, 2020 in a local hospital. Mr. Fontenot will be cremated under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Fontenot was a native of Lake Charles and 20+ year resident of Thornwell. He was a driver for Waste Management.

Mr. Fontenot is survived by his mother, Betty Fontenot of Thornwell, four sisters, Mellisa Cummings of Sulphur, Tina Myers of Moss Bluff, Jenny Fontenot of Iowa, LA and Tammy Croker of Thornwell; one brother, Ricky Fontenot of DeRidder and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Shirley Fontenot.
