Steven B. Lejeune

Jennings Funeral services for Mr. Steven B. LeJeune, 77, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2009 at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., today Sunday, September 13, 2009 and on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. A rosary will be recited Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Mr. LeJeune died Friday, September 11, 2009 at 12:05 p.m. in the Jennings Guest House. Mr. LeJeune was a native of Iota and lifelong resident of Jennings. He was a 1951 Graduate of Iota High School. He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church and a 50 year member of the Knights of Columbus. He was the owner of ABC Bookkeeping Service and retired from the Jeff Davis School Board in 1992. Mr. LeJeune was a former member of the Jennings City Council, Chamber of Commerce and the Lions Club. He served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1954. Mr. LeJeune is survived by his wife, Donna Lou Buller LeJeune of Jennings; a sister, Margaret Elaine Simar and her husband Ernest of Evangeline and a brother, Michael Mickey LeJeune and his wife Mildred of Youngsville, La. Mr. LeJeune was loved by his many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Lydiana Leger LeJeune and a sister, Patricia L. Landry.
