Funeral services for Mr. Stephen “Steve” Reeves, 66 will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 18, 2021, in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Steve’s family requests visitation be held from 11:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2021, and from 8:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service.

Burial will be in the Raymond Methodist Cemetery under direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Mr. Steve passed peacefully from this life into the next on Monday, November 15, 2021.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Hathaway. A master of all trades with the most generous soul, he loved helping those in need. He never met a problem for which he didn’t have a solution. He cherished time spent with his family and friends.

Mr. Steve is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Agnes and Brad Briles of Lake Charles, Connie and KJ Hebert of Mandeville, Sasha and Ryan Ipson of Baton Rouge and Chassity Medus of Opelousas; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Yuliana Reeves of Hathaway; grandchildren, Claire, Asa, Corynn, Abigail, Cole, Lawson, Camille, Grant, Lincoln, and Jace; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gertrude and Greg Myers of Covington, Winona and Tony Menard of Hathaway, and Lola and Cory Louviere of Hathaway; brother and sister-in-law, John and Diane Reeves of Hathaway.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Wesley and Esther Maria Koll Reeves, his sister Delores Fontenot and brothers Bill, and David Reeves.
