It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Stephen C. Evans announces his passing on Monday, February 15, 2021.

Stephen was cremated as per his request.

Mr. Evans was born in Leavenworth, Ks and grew up in McLean, VA.  He enjoyed tennis and golf, spending time at Bryce Resort in Basye, VA.  He graduated from McLean High School in 1985 and graduated from Longwood College in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business.

Stephen lived in Jennings with the love of his life Pamela Ewing, for three and a half years.  They were best friends for 14 years before they met.  They spent every second together and enjoyed countless happy times.

Also left to cherish his memory is his son, Cooper Stephen Gore, a sophomore at University of Tennessee studying finance; his brother, Philip G. Evans and wife Tammy of Basye, VA; Pamela’s son, Matthew Ewing and partner Abigail Ellcey; six nephews; one niece; two great-nieces and one great nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gregory and Patricia Evans; maternal grandparents, Cline Clift and Errol Clift; paternal grandparents, Courtney Evans and Elizabeth “Betty” Evans.
