Funeral services for Stanley Cresap Mead of Houston, Texas, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, at Miguez Funeral Home, with Rev. Keith Pellerin officiating.
Mrs. Mead passed away Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021, at her home in Houston, Texas.
Interment will be held in Houston, Texas.
She was born May 13, 1946, to Stanley and Liz Eubank Cresap. Stanley married Ralph Mead 53 years ago in Jennings.
Stanley was a dedicated and talented educator, working and teaching in elementary schools within the Klein ISD for 22 years. A 1963 graduate of Jennings High School, she was a head majorette for the Bulldogs. She started college at University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette and was a member of the Kappa Delta sorority. Stanley completed her bachelor of science degree at Sam Houston State and enjoyed being in the classroom with young children.
Family was a priority to Stanley. She was a loving wife and nurturing mother, and she leaves behind her loving husband of 53 years, Ralph, and three incredible boys, Mitchell, Matthew and Michael. Along with being an amazing wife and mother, she loved being a grandmother to MJ and Colton.
She is reunited in Heaven with her brother, William, and her parents, Stanley and Liz Cresap.
Although her sister, Carolyn Kettering, and her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends will dearly miss her, they will continue to celebrate her life and giving spirit.
