JENNINGS Funeral services for Mr. Sidney Glenn Andrus, 87, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 25, 2008 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial with Military Funeral Honors will be in the Andrus Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., today, Sunday; and 8:00 a.m., Monday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., today, Sunday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Andrus died at 6:20 a.m., Saturday, August 23, 2008 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Resident of Jennings 16 years moving here from Stanton, VA. He was an apartment complex manager. Served in the U.S. Navy during World War II on the USS Enterprise aircraft carrier. Member of the Lake Charles VFW. SURVIVORS: (1) Son: Michael Andrus and wife, Barbara-Kermin, CA (4) Sisters: Eula A. Tygrett and husband Hoyt-Jennings Laura Roy and husband Keith-Jennings Hortense Smith and husband Edward-Jennings Rosemarie Clement and husband Lee-Jennings (2) Grandsons Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Carroll and Doris Ortego Andrus; his wife, Ann Fischer Andrus; one sister, Rita Lowery; two brothers, Henry and George Andrus.
