Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Mary Mier Guillory, 82, of Roanoke, LA will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Father Michael Caraway officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pine Island Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin on Monday, February 7, 2022, at Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings at 10:30 a.m. and continue until 9:00 p.m.  Visitation will resume on Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.

Mrs. Guillory was born on September 11, 1939, in Morse, LA to Duval and Margaret LaPoint Mier. She graduated from Midland High School.  She enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family.  She loved spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Kathy (Owen) Cormier of Roanoke, Connie Guillory of Roanoke, Jennifer (Danny) Benoit of Hathaway; three sons, Ernie (Joan) Guillory, Louie (Cheryl) Guillory, Terry (Sonya) Guillory all of Roanoke; one sister, Anna Mae Broussard of Jennings; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years John Otis Guillory, her parents; and nine brothers and sisters.
