The Family of Mrs. Shirley Ann LeGros Meyers, 82, of Jennings will receive guests at a memorial visitation on Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Meyers passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Jennings American Legion Hospital.  She was born on July 15, 1938 in Jennings to Elton and Eula Schuff LeGros.

Mrs. Shirley appreciated the simple things in life.  She had a love for music and long rides. She was well known for her quick wit and cheekiness.  She enjoyed spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren.  She loved late night games with family and friends and was known to be quite the opponent when playing a game of scrabble.  She was the woman of a home where family gathered late for night visiting and plenty of laughter.  She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by four daughters, Robin O’Quinn, Ginger Crader of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Kelley Meyers, LeeAnne Meyers; sons, Alex Meyers and Addison Meyers; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Meyers, her parents and two brothers, Tommy and Gerald “Beau” LeGros.

Cremation was under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
