Sheila Thibodeaux Duplechin

Sheila Duplechin, 67, of Sulphur, LA passed away at a local hospital on February 10, 2021.

Sheila was born on June 27, 1953 in Sulphur, LA to Dewey and Annette Thibodeaux. She enjoyed making rosaries, drawing, and riding four wheelers with her grandbaby’s. Sheila enjoyed being around family and friends and worked many years at R.W. Vincent School in the cafeteria.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 48 years, Kenneth R. Duplechin; three children, Sharmen Duplechin, April Verret and husband Charlie, and Josh Duplechin and wife Cayla; six grandchildren, Jake, Kitt, Jackie, Noah, Chandler, and Brynna; and two great grandchildren, Cloe and Bella.

She is preceded in death by her parents: and great granddaughter, Rayne.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 13^th, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Carlyss. 5009 Hwy. 27 South,  under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service at 2:00 PM Saturday at First Baptist Church of Carlyss. Cremation will follow services.  Fr. Bino Francis, M.S. will officiate services.
