Sharon Lane Derouen

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Sharon Lane Breaux DeRouen, 75, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 4,2017 in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel with Dwight DeRouen officiating.

Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Funeral home visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday; and 8:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.

Mrs. DeRouen died at 6:10 p.m., Sunday, July 30, 2017 in the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Lake Charles.

Mrs. DeRouen was a lifelong resident of Jennings and was a high school graduate of Jennings High. She loved visiting with friends and family. She also loved to laugh and make others laugh.

Survivors include one daughter, April (Leland) Lane Jolliff of Knoxville, TN; three sons, Dwayne (Allison Page) DeRouen of Lake Charles, Dwight (Gloria) DeRouen of Houston, TX, Shannon (Barbara) DeRouen of Memphis, TN; two sisters, Elaine (Jimmy) DeJean of Lake Charles, Kay (Darrell) Guillory of Jennings; one brother, Wayne Breaux of Jennings; 15 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Annie Rutledge Breaux; two sisters, Betty Jean Darbonne and Patricia Barnett; and one brother, Leroy Breaux.
