Lake Arthur Funeral services for Mr. Scott Wayne Boudreaux, 41, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2010 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Funeral home visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5th with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. by the Catholic Daughters. Wednesday visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Mr. Boudreaux died at 5:45 p.m. at his residence in Greenwell Springs, La. on January 1, 2010. Mr. Boudreaux was a native of Jennings and former resident of Lake Arthur and member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. He graduated from Lake Arthur High School Class of 1985 and attended McNeese College. Mr. Boudreaux was a member of the National Guard who served during Desert Storm. He was a carpenter by trade and his hobbies included photography, woodworking, electronics, boating, camping, water skiing and time spent with his family. He is survived by his mother; Baina Lynn Ryder of Youngsville, father; Allen Wayne Boudreax of Lake Arthur two sons; Justin Wayne and Bailey Wayne Boudreaux of Carriere, MS., a sister; Christi Petitjean of Rayne, two half-sisters; Stori and Tasha, a half brother; Eric Boudreaux, maternal grandparents; Vernon and Mildred Ryder of Lake Arthur, paternal grandparents; Ferdie Boudreaux of Lake Arthur and Laura Boudreaux of Lake Arthur and his life companion; Cindi Brashears of Greenwell Springs, La. Mr. Boudreaux was preceded in death by his brother in law; Jason Petitjean.
