Funeral services for Mrs. Saundra “Toni” Gail Duhon Hearod, 72, of Jennings will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 27, 2023, in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel. 

Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery under the Direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Funeral home visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday; and 8:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services.  A rosary will be recited Monday evening at 6:00 p.m.

Mrs. Toni passed away at 3:36 a.m., Saturday, June 24, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was a lifelong resident of Jennings and worked as a Baker most of her life.  She loved baking, fishing, hunting, cooking, sewing and dancing, but her most favorite thing to do was spend time with her family and loved spoiling her grandkids and great grandkids.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, James “Big Buck” Hearod, Sr.; daughter, Anne (Eddie) Reeves of Jennings; son James “Buckie” Hearod, Jr. of Jennings; daughter in law, Misty Hearod; twelve grandchildren; Kandice (Dillion) Hebert, Alyson (Ross) Hearod, Mia (Christian) Chaisson, Austin (Jess) Landry, Lindsey (Chris) LeGros, Daityn Hearod, Karlie (Justin) Hebert, Haiden Hearod, Kaiden Reeves, Brett Gotte, Landon Gotte, Lane LeDoux; and twelve great grandchildren, Karter, Kynslee, Bennett and Adam Hebert, Liam and Luke Chaisson, Lily and Brynlee Landry, Rhett and Rhidge Legros, Kholden Hebert, and Bryleigh Gotte.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Brandon Hearod; and two brothers, Byron Duhon, Sr., Garrett Duhon, Sr; godchild Roxanne “BooBoo” Leger; and her best friend, Gloria Faye LeJeune.

Pallbearers will be James H Hearod, Jr., Dillion Hebert, Kaiden Reeves, Haiden Hearod, Justin Hebert and Christian Chaisson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Daityn Hearod and Chris LeGros.
